JOHANNESBURG, 1ST JULY 2010: Sandbox Holding announced a number of strategic changes to the operational aspects at its 100% held Sitronix (PTY) LTD, to align the Sitronix offering with market developments and opportunities. Sitronix has seen significant growth since being acquired by the Sandbox group in 2007 and this announcement formalizes the restructure of the group into 5 separately registered entities each, with their own General Manager and staffing structure.
These changes are intended to enable the new entities to maintain their fast and agile approach to customer needs whilst maintaining the stability of being a member of a R350 million group. The growth expectancy is that each of these entities will grow at rates exceeding a 50% CAGR.

These changes have developed over time and therefore there is limited impact to existing staff structures to finalise the implementation inside the various entities.
Steve Mason the previous General Manager of the Sitronix Group takes up a strategic role as the Business Development Director and Greg Palmer takes up the Operations Director Role into which all the subsidiaries of the Previous Sitronix group entity will report. The Sandbox Group FD temporarily fulfilled this Operations Role at Sitronix; these changes will release him from this role and his other responsibilities at Sitronix over time. For efficiency reasons the Sitronix General Manager role is being made redundant.
Due to the rapid growth rates being experienced in the Cape region, Steve Mason will initially be focused and assisting the Sitronix regional office there to maximize their market penetration to match the levels achieved in Gauteng.
A number of the Sandbox Holding subsidiaries have seen dramatic growth in the Cape region on the back of the groups increasing commitment and investments in their respective Cape Town offices.
